During my studies I co-founded Sinaki GmbH in 2015.
The purpose of the company at that time was to export high-tech photovoltaics components from Germany to Africa and Asia.
My first tasks were to establish all logistics processes and to navigate the team through the founding process of the company.
Later I also developed an internal webshop for our customers to accelerate the ordering process.
Business Development
While our sales developed well, the profit margin was low due to the high travel and coordination costs with at the same time relatively high investment risks, which made us consider adapting our business model.
In 2019 we did a first change and focused on the construction of photovoltaic systems in Wolfsburg, Germany.
Due to the rapidly increasing importance of renewable energy sources and the ambitious climate goals, it was obvious for us to take action on our own doorstep.
Thanks to lean local processes, we were then able to improve our profit margin. This timing was fortunate because we were now also benefiting greatly on the revenue side from Germany’s strategy to significantly expand renewable energies.
After we had expanded our company and hired our first employees, we wanted to broaden our position for sustainable business success. In 2023 we expanded our business area to include electrical services and roofing work and even software development.
The latter was a major concern for me, in order to build a license-based business model alongside the volatile project business, which simultaneously creates added value for the customer and binds them to the company.
These software products, which were developed in high speed and low cost due to our devoted and highly skilled team, are PlatoPV (B2B) and a photovoltaic performance monitoring System called PERMON (B2C).
Today Sinaki has a team of 15 employees with a high level of expertise in the areas mentioned and works with a lot of passion and motivation. Our services include both private and commercial orders.
